Funerals come to a standstill

Workers in the funeral industry are not going to work as a planned nationwide strike gets underway. The undertakers are vowing not to collect corpses from both government and private hospitals, or homes, until their demands are met. Protesters are outside the George Mukhari Hospital in Garankuwa.
