Health workers wearing PPEs from different public and private hospitals in Metro Manila hold a ‘National Day of Protest’ to condemn the DOH and Duterte government over non-payment of their promised COVID-19 benefits at the gate of DOH building in Sta. Ctuz Manila on Wednesday, September 1, 2021. They strongly demand for the immediate ouster of DOH Secretary Duque and hold him accountable and liable for his gross neglect, inept and inefficient response in handling COVID-19 pandemic.
