Ethiopian minister earns doctorate from S. Korea's top science university

South Korea's top science and engineering university, KAIST, is awarding a doctorate degree to Ethiopia's former minister of urban development and construction.
The now-doctor Mekuria Teklemariam... earned the degree last month in business administration, aiming to study South Korea as a role model for Ethiopia's own future development.
Having studied at KAIST for four years, Teklemariam is hoping to bring back to Ethiopia some of Korea's achievements in areas like internet access and IT education for senior citizens.
He's leaving for his home country this Saturday.
