Chicken Masala Punjabi style Chicken 1kg Onion 3 big onion Potato 2 big Tomatoes 3 big size Ginger cut into julienne 2 tbs Garlic 2 tbs chopped Coriander leaf 2 tbs Kashmiri Chili powder 2 tsp Coriander powder 2 tbs Turmeric powder 1 tsp Garam masala 1tsp Salt to taste
Marination: Marinate chicken with 1tsp Kashmiri chili powder,1/4 tsp turmeric powder,7-8 mint leaves,1/2 tsp garam masala, salt 1 tsp,10-12 curry leaves, 1 tbs coriander leaves and ½ cup curd and marinate and keep at least for 1 hr. In a pan add 2 tbs oil and add whole masala 1 anise seed,2 cloves,1-piece cinnamon fry them for 1mts then add onion and fry it then add little curry leaves then add chopped garlic and ginger and saute for 5-6 mts add chopped tomatoes. close lid and cook tomatoes and grind it into paste. In the same pan pour the paste and cook it and add coriander powder, chili powder, turmeric powder and garam masala, salt and fry it till the raw smell is gone. Then add marinated chicken into it and mix it nicely and close the lid and cook it for 7-8 mts then open the lid and add potatoes and miz well and close the lid and cook it for 15-20 mts till the chicken is cooked.
