Hannah: Application for welfare assistance is now easier

Deputy Women, Family and Community Development Minister Hannah Yeoh on Monday said those applying for welfare assistance are no longer required to obtain signatures of state representatives and member of parliament’s approval.
She also highlighted that the period of application for “clear cut” cases have been shortened from two months to a week.
