Shabery: Export of poultry out of Kelantan should be monitored

Agriculture and Agro-based Industry Minister Datuk Seri Ahmad Shabery Cheek said it is imperative for the Government to take preventive measures to prevent poultry to be exported out from Kelantan so as not to affect trading with countries like China and Singapore. Meanwhile, Health Minister Datuk Seri Dr S. Subramanian said there has been no human transmission of the H5N1 avian influenza since it was detected in Kelantan earlier this month.
