Finance Minister Lim Guan Eng said banning the sale of duty-free cigarettes will not curb the illegal tobacco trade in the country. Lim said he needs to get feedback from the Health Ministry before making a decision on the ban. He was commenting on the government’s suggestion of imposing a ban on the duty-free islands.
