Suhakam to probe Johor’s alleged Orang Asli land invasion

SUHAKAM comissioner, Datuk Lok Yim Pheng received a memorandum from Kampung Sungai Air Tawas and Tanah Gembur Orang Asli residents who alleged that their ancestral land had been encroached by the state government. They claimed the incursion violated their rights and source of income.
Orang Asli representative Jengkeng Jani claimed the land was used by his family for generations.
