Craft Superstore Spotlight Wants You To MAKE Your Christmas Gifts

Earlier this year, a delightful little workshop billed as Make It Merry was held in Petaling Jaya, when Australasia’s largest fabric, craft and home interiors super-store Spotlight revealed its six Christmas decorator colour palettes for 2016.

The idea of the workshop was to encourage people to get hands on and design their own gifts and decorations when Christmas comes along.

Spotlight’s communications manager Eva Daly said: “Christmas is traditionally known as a time for sharing. And in the spirit of giving, what better way to spread joy than to create and share personalised gifts with your loved ones?”

The room was chock-a-block with interesting DIY stuff – baubles, markers, stars, angels, cards, stickers, glitter, paper and embellishments, wrappers, string, ribbons, cake frosting, yarn, fabric – a veritable heaven for any craft aficionado.
