Rescue operations are winding up at Karipur airport after an Air India plane crash while landing, amid heavy rain. Flight 1344 DXB CCJ skidded off the runway. Aviation expert SS Panesar said when it is raining, the pilot has to prepare in advance for landing. Calicut is a very critical runway and the pilot needs to maintain proper speed for landing.
