A landslide has occurred in Kerala's Idukki district, in an area that is said to be hard to access. Emergency personnel have reached the spot but at that point there was no confirmation on the number of people trapped. Red alert has been sounded in Idukki, Wayanad and Malappuram districts as heavy rains are expected.
