UK man rescues helpless lamb stuck in muddy bog

A man going for a walk in Tangwick, the Shetland Islands, rescued a lamb that was stuck in a muddy bog.
Footage filmed on July 22 by Nick McCaffrey shows the helpless lamb in the muddy bog with only its head above the thick mixture.
McCaffrey told Newsflare: "I was on an early morning walk on the shoreline of a local beach here in Shetland, looking for whales out at sea when I came across this poor little lamb stuck in a bog.
"Needless to say I had to rescue this guy and I was glad to see his mum come to his calls straight away. He was lucky, the sun was still rising and he wasn't far from being found by our scavenging seabirds.
"I had all my cameras with me and knew I would be able to get the animal out the mud so I decided to film the event."
McCaffrey managed to haul the animal out and watched it run off towards its mother.
