Municipal manager accused of blocking R670mil tender probe

The Emfuleni’s municipal manager, Lucky Leseane, is under fire for allegedly blocking criminal investigations against a tender involving R670 million. This is according to forensic company, Comperio Consulting which was appointed two years ago to probe irregular expenditure through the illegal award of tenders to various companies in the Vaal. COVID-19 related contracts have also been questioned at this municipality.
