Congress stole 6 BSP MLAs, will go to Supreme Court: Mayawati

Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) chief Mayawati has launched yet another attack on Congress and said that the Gehlot-led party in Rajasthan “stole” 6 of her MLAs through illegal means. The BSP chief also said that she will take the matter to Supreme Court. In a scathing attack on Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot, Mayawati accused him of stealing 6 MLAs from BSP last year to strengthen the position of his government. “We will not stay silent and take up this matter to the Supreme Court. We were waiting for proper opportunity to teach Gehlot a lesson,” said Mayawati on Tuesday. Six MLAs from BSP were inducted into the Congress in September last year. The lawmakers had handed over affidavits to state Assembly Speaker C P Joshi to merge the legislative party with the Congress.
