The Rajasthan political crisis will take another turn as a three-judge bench of the Supreme Court on Monday will resume the hearing of the Special Leave Petition (SLP) filed by Rajasthan Assembly Speaker CP Joshi.

Earlier on Wednesday, Rajasthan Assembly Speaker CP Joshi moved the top court against the high court order restraining him till July 24 from conducting disqualification proceedings against 19 rebel Congress MLAs, including sacked deputy chief minister Sachin Pilot.

The Rajasthan high court had said that the "judiciary was never expected" to intervene in such matters resulting in "constitutional impasse". For latest updates on Rajasthan political impasse, watch the full video.
