Amanah MPs today equated ketuanan Melayu (Malay supremacy) to white supremacy, and warned that such sentiments could lead to future unrest.

Warisan president Shafie Apdal also called on Malays to self-reflect, and not to blame other races if they are successful.

Speaking in the Dewan Rakyat, Amanah president Mohamad Sabu (Harapan-Kota Raja) said white supremacy sentiments fanned by US President Donald Trump had triggered chaotic protests throughout the United States.

Mohamad warned that ketuanan Melayu could also lead to this.
