Rajasthan HC hears Pilot's plea, AIIMS panel gives nod to human clinical trial of Covaxin

The hearing on a writ petition filed by Sachin Pilot and 18 other dissident Congress MLAs from Rajasthan, challenging the disqualification notices issued to them by the state Assembly speaker, has resumed in the high court. The AIIMS Ethics Committee on Saturday gave its nod for a human clinical trial of the indigenously developed Covid-19 vaccine candidate Covaxin following which the premier hospital is likely to begin the exercise by enrolling healthy volunteers from Monday.
