Officials battle to remove snake hiding in hood of car in southern India

Forest officials in Pudukkottai, southern India battled to remove a snake taking refuge in the hood of a car on July 17.
The footage shows several men using sticks to try and pull the rat snake from the vehicle's engine.
After the reptile was caught it was then released into the nearby jungle.
