LeBron and Anthony Davis, among other stars, declined to wear a social justice message picked by the NBA to advance the Black Lives Matter messaging as the George Floyd protests continue. Players like Kyrie Irving and Dwight Howard called for the league to push the discussion forward, but when the league limited the messages allowed on jerseys, certain players decided they weren't given enough of a role in the plan.
