The new fifth-generation Renault Clio has garnered tremendous attention for many reasons. First of all, it is important to say that the car was constructed on a completely new mechanical platform.
The idea of the designer was to make the Clio immediately recognizable because it is very reminiscent of the old one in terms of proportions and many elements.
We are not sure why the Clio got that part to be the first, but it is certain that the new 9.3-inch display is twice as big as the previous one - the seven-inch.
The interior is especially attractive. Renault promises even more surfaces coated with soft-touch materials.
The cockpit is aimed at the driver, and the big novelty is the largest multimedia display in Renault so far.
A huge novelty is the fully digital instrument panel in 7 and 10-inch variants, which makes it the car with the largest displays in its class.
The Renault Clio 5 got ambient lighting, wireless phone charging, is the first car in its class with an electric parking brake, and the automatic climate controls are taken from the Dacia Duster model, as well as the buttons around them.
It is also interesting that from now on every Clio will have 100% LED headlights, regardless of the equipment package. It will have a Bose sound system and a huge trunk of 391 liters.
