This Community In Quezon City Turned A Vacant Lot Into An Urban Garden

If you had a choice, wouldn't you rather go out to your garden and pick fresh vegetables than go to the market, risk being infected by the virus, and fall in line for several hours?

That's exactly what the members of this community had in mind. When JC Tejano and his neighbors saw the vacant lot near their homes, they saw an opportunity to create something that would benefit everyone in their community.

Now they have a good source of vegetables—free and free!
