N. Korea rules out possibility of talks with U.S. ahead of American nuclear envoy's arrival in South

북한 외무성 "미국 사람들과 마주 앉을 생각 없다"

Our starting point this morning,...
North Korea on the verbal attack again,... saying it has zero interest in talking to the U.S. despite Washington's efforts to re-engage with the regime.
The North's state-un media cited a statement by Kwon Jong-gun the head of the North's foreign ministry's North America Department, in which he said there's no need for talks with U.S. officials.
This comes just hours before U.S. nuclear envoy Stephen Biegun arrives in Seoul for talks on nuclear diplomacy with officials here.
Although not confirmed, there had been speculation that Biegun may even visit the border village of Panmunjom during his three-day stay in the South.
The latest remark is also in line with another veteran North Korean diplomat Choe Son-hui, who last weekend, ruled out the possibility of more talks with Washington.
