India has converted train carriages into Covid-19 isolation wards at a railway station in the capital New Delhi. Coronavirus cases are on the rise in India after the country eased lockdown measures and the daily number of new cases approached 20,000. As of July 2, 2020, India had confirmed 604,641 infections and 17,834 deaths.
