India has the world’s second-highest coronavirus caseload behind the US, with nearly 98,000 cases daily at peak times in September. But in October and November, it is seeing a steady falling trend where case numbers have dropped to about 44,000 cases a day. As of November 11, 2020, the total number of infections recorded in India had been 8,636,011 cases, and the Covid-19 death toll was 127,571.
