Starting this month, people in South Korea will be able to buy thin, anti-droplet face masks at supermarkets and convenience stores as well as online. The KF-AD or "anti-droplet" masks are as thin as dental masks, but have been approved by the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety for blocking water droplets. Retail chains like Lotte Mart, Homeplus, and E-Mart will be selling boxes containing 5 to 20 face masks,... with some stores only allowing one box per customer. Smaller packets with 2 to 5 face masks will be available at convenience stores like CU, GS25, and 7-Eleven. The prices range from 500 won to 900 won per mask, or about 40 U.S. cents to 75 cents.
