Firefighters are trying to maintain a large fire in Highlands Ranch, Colorado by dropping large amounts of fire retardant on the blaze.
The 450-acre fire started mid-day Monday morning (June 29).
A mandatory evacuation was issued for the BackCountry subdivision on the south side of Highlands Ranch and area trails.
