Crazy Approach on Fire Retardant Drop

Calfire was attempting to contain the fire with these drops but the fire continued to progress. This particular aircraft came in below the height of the freeway that the aircraft was headed towards, and navigated the overhead wires to make the drop and pull up to avoid the hill.
