David Warner has said that the Australian players will participate in IPL 2020 should the ICC T20 World Cup that is scheduled to be held this year is canceled. On an episode of India Today’s Inspiration, Warner went on to say if it is unlikely that the World Cup cannot go ahead, then he is very sure and positive that they (Australian players)will be able to come and play in the IPL if that replaces the World Cup schedule and should they get permission from Cricket Australia to go to India.

ऑस्ट्रेलिया के धाकड़ ओपनर बल्लेबाज डेविड वॉर्नर ने कहा है कि अगर टी20 विश्वकप नहीं होता है. तो वो आईपीएल में जरूर खेलेंगे. डेविड वॉर्नर का मानना है कि इस साल टी20 विश्वकप का आयोजन होना मुश्किल है. पर आखिरी फैसला क्रिकेट ऑस्ट्रेलिया को लेना है कि वो टी20 विश्वकप कराएंगे या फिर नहीं? कुछ दिनों में इस पर फैसला आ जाएगा. इसके बाद ही पता चल पाएगा कि इस साल दर्शकों को ऑस्ट्रेलिया में टी20 विश्वकप देखने को मिलेगा या नहीं? पर कोशिश ये की जा रही है कि किसी तरह आईपीएल का आयोजन हो सके और बीसीसीआई इसी कोशिश में लगी हुई भी है. इंडिया टुडे ने वार्नर के हवाले से कहा,"अगर विश्व कप के आयोजन की संभावना नहीं है तो मैं काफी आश्वस्त और सकारात्मक हूं कि हम आईपीएल में खेल पाएंगे अगर यह विश्व कप की जगह लेता है तो."
