India is building what it describes as the world’s largest temporary Covid-19 hospital, in an effort to ease the lack of quarantine facilities in the country. The Indian government estimates a massive surge of 550,000 coronavirus cases by the end of July. As of June 18, India had confirmed 366,946 Covid-19 cases and 12,237 deaths.
