Sta. Ana Port in Davao City appears deserted after over three months of inactivity

What used to be a bustling port, the Sta. Ana Port in Davao City appears deserted after over three months of inactivity due to community quarantine measures.

The port is the gateway to islands of Samal and Talicud, both are part of Davao Del Norte, and are among the top tourist destinations in Davao Region.

However, beach resorts in the islands have been closed due to COVID-19 pandemic. Recently, the local government has announced that beach resorts will resume operations on July 1. MB Video by Keith Bacongco
