The Marco Polo Hotel in Davao City ceased its operation

The Marco Polo Hotel, the first and only five-star hotel in Davao City ceased its operation as COVID-19 pandemic badly affects the tourism and hospitality industry. About 270 workers are affected by the closure, which was announced by the management last May.
