Stolen Cattle Along Kenya-Uganda Border Recovered

A total of fourteen cows which were stolen from Bukwo district in the neighboring country of Uganda by a group of youths from North Pokot sub county together with their Uganda counterparts were recovered by the security team and area leadership and handed over back to the owners. This comes in the wake of new cases of cattle rustling being reported along the border of Kenya and Uganda along the Kanyerus corridor after several years when the communities living along the border signed a peace pact and abandoned cattle rustling.
