Black Lives Matter supporters brave the rain in Tokyo
  • 4 years ago
Dozens of protesters brave the rain to join the Black Lives Matter rally in downtown Tokyo. People march through the city’s popular shopping district of Shibuya, hoping to raise the public’s awareness of racial discrimination. Protests have erupted across the globe since the killing of African-American George Floyd in the United States on May 25 when a police officer, who has been charged with second-degree murder, knelt on his neck for several minutes.
