Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison on Friday announced further relaxation of coronavirus restrictions, including allowing sports stadiums capable of seating 40,000 people to host crowds of up to 10,000 from next month. He said the States were working towards rules for allowing the stadiums of up to 40,000 seats to host up to 10,000 people from July. Now the big question is whether Australia will organise T20 World Cup as scheduled or IPL will get window?

अब सबसे बड़ा सवाल यही पर पैदा होता है कि क्या ऑस्ट्रेलिया क्रिकेट बोर्ड टी20 वर्ल्डकप कराने के लिए जिद करेगा. क्या बीसीसीआई के सामने ऑस्ट्रेलिया बीसीसीआई के रिक्वेस्ट को मान जाएगा. दरअसल, बात ये है कि अगर अक्टूबर में होने वाले विश्वकप का आयोजन निर्धारित समय से होता है. तो फिर आईपीएल का इस साल होने सम्भव नहीं हैं. वहीँ, बीसीसीआई इस कोशिश में लगी हुई है कि कम से कम इस साल किसी तरह से आईपीएल शुरू हो जाए. ताकि जो घाटा बीते तीन महीनों में हुआ है. उसको रिकवर कर लें. ऐसे में बीसीसीआई को आईपीएल स्थगित करना पड़ सकता है. इससे बीसीसीआई को 4 हजार करोड़ तक का नुकसान हो सकता है.
