S. Korea's June 1-10 exports jump 20% on more working days

South Korea's total exports during the first ten days of June were up, but the average daily exports fell.
The Korea Customs Service said Thursday that exports from June 1st to June 10th amounted some 12-point-three U.S. billion dollars. That's up over 20 percent from the same period last year.
Exports of medical supplies jumped over 136 percent and semiconductor exports rose over 22 percent, while petroleum products and auto shipments fell.
But when the number of working days is taken into account, the daily average exports fell amost 10 percent on-year.
Exports to China went up over 35 percent while shipments to the Middle East and Australia fell.
