Here, people see bats present on the tree and not consider them to be a part of their life. The forest officials of Pilibhit are also seen appealing to people not to fear.

देश में कोरोना वायरस के मामले दिन-प्रतिदिन तेजी के साथ बढ़ते जा रहे हैं. कोरोना वायरस फैलने के पीछे चमगादड़ों को वजह बताया जा रहा है हालांकि अभी तक इनका वायरस से कोई संबंध प्रमाणित नहीं हो सका है, लेकिन स्तनधारी प्राणी चमगादड़ की मौजूदगी लोगों के बीच खासी चर्चा का कारण बनी हुई है. उत्तर प्रदेश के पीलीभीत जनपद में हाल ठीक इसके विपरीत हैं. यहां लोग पेड़ पर मौजूद चमगादड़ों को देखकर खौफजदा न होकर उन्हें अपने जीवन का हिस्सा मानते हैं. पीलीभीत के वन अधिकारी भी लोगों से न डरने की अपील करते हुए नजर आ रहे हैं.
