was done by a city public works crew. Mayor Bowser,

the mayor's decision for the painting was to
make it clear the city owns the street. John Falcicchio,

forcefully removed protesters around
the park to let President Trump visit a church. Smoke canisters and pepper spray were
used to disperse the crowd for what
critics called a "photo-op." Bowser said the president's actions
were "shameful," and she has asked for
military presence to leave the nation's capital.
