Hong Kong Chief Executive Carrie Lam Cheng Yuet-ngor says China’s central government remains determined to implement the national security law for the city. Lam made the remarks at a June 3, 2020, press conference in Beijing, after her meeting with Chinese Vice-Premier Han Zheng, who is in charge of Hong Kong affairs. She also reiterated that Beijing condemns foreign interference in China’s internal affairs, including Hong Kong.
