Balbir Singh Sr, Triple Olympic Gold Medallist Hockey Legend Passes Away

Hockey legend and winner of three Olympic gold medals, Balbir Singh Sr died at the age of 95 at a hospital in Chandigarh on Monday.

భారత హాకీ దిగ్గజం బల్బీర్‌ సింగ్‌(95) కన్నుమూశారు. మెదడు సంబంధిత వ్యాధితో మొహాలీలోని ఓ ఆస్పత్రిలో చికిత్స పొందుతూ ఈ రోజు(సోమవారం) ఉదయం తుదిశ్వాస విడిచారు. ఒలింపిక్స్‌లో భారత్‌కు మూడుసార్లు స్వర్ణ పతకాలు తీసుకురావడంలో బల్బీర్‌సింగ్‌ కీలక పాత్ర పోషించారు.
