DOH: Total COVID-19 cases reach 13,343

The Department of Health (DOH) confirmed 213 new coronavirus disease cases on May 21, Thursday, bringing the country’s total to over 13,343.
Out of the new confirmed cases, the Health department noted that 98 cases were found in Metro Manila, 17 cases in Central Visayas, and 98 cases in other regions.
The latest data also bared 68 new recoveries, raising the total tally of individuals who have survived from COVID-19 to 3,000
However, the number of those who died has increased by 4 to 846, the DOH said.
