President urges swift reinvestigations into unresolved historical issues

President Moon Jae-in has again stressed the importance of uncovering the truth behind unresolved historical issues... following the approval of a related a bill Wednesday.
Taking to social media today, President Moon said the passage will allow the Truth and Reconciliation Commission to reinvestigate various human rights violation cases... such as the suspected case of years-long abuse at the 'Brother Welfare Center' from 1975.
The purpose of the reinvestigation is not to punish those responsible... the president said, but for reconciliation and unity based on the genuine truth.
