China detains 1,20,000 Muslim Uighurs in re-education camps

China has confined the Muslim Uighur minority to political 're-education camps' according to media reports. It is being reported that about 1,20,000 Uighurs have been detained in the re-education camps where ethnic and religious restrictions have been imposed on them.
