Monsoon to hit Maharashtra on Thursday, Mumbai on Rain Alert

The financial capital Mumbai is bracing for ‘really heavy rains’ with monsoon to hit Maharashtra and Goa in next 48 hours, three days before is scheduled arrival, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said on Tuesday. On Saturday, the capital city of Maharashtra witnessed “pre-monsoon” showers which resulted in water logging at several areas across the city.
