KCCI awarded 2020 Van Fleet Award for promoting S. Korea-U.S. ties

The Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry is set to become the first business group to receive the Van Fleet Award for promoting ties between South Korea and the U.S.
The chamber said Monday that it's being awarded this year's prize... for its efforts to boost ties between business circles in the two countries.
The Korea Society has been giving out the award, named after Korean War General James A. Van Fleet, for over two decades, to honor Koreans or Americans who have promoted bilateral ties.
Previous awardees include U.S. Presidents Jimmy Carter and George W. Bush, late South Korean President Kim Dae-jung and Samsung Chairman Lee Kun-hee.
