INGREDIENTS Butter - 100 grams Powdered sugar - 70 grams Vanilla essence - 1 teaspoon Cold water - 60 milliliters All purpose flour - 200 grams Salt - 1/4 teaspoon Baking powder - 1/4 teaspoon Mix fruit jam
PREPARATION 1. In a mixing bowl, add 100 grams butter, 70 grams powdered sugar and mix it well. 2. Now, add 1 teaspoon vanilla essence, 60 milliliters cold water and mix it again. 3. Then, add 200 grams all purpose flour, 1/4 teaspoon salt, 1/4 teaspoon baking powder and knead it into a smooth dough. 4. Refrigerate for 10 - 15 minutes. 5. Now, Make a chapati like shape and cut into any shape with the help of a biscuit cutter. Stamp out a smaller circle from the middles of half the biscuits. (See video) 6. Put the biscuits on baking sheet. Preheat the oven to 320°F/160°C. Bake for 10 - 12 minutes or until the top is golden brown. 7. When completely cold, spread the round corners of biscuits with mix fruit jam with help of icing cone. 8. Put ring-shaped biscuits on top of a jam-covered biscuit and press lightly together. 9. Dust the ring-shaped biscuits with powdered sugar. 10. Fill the top middle part of biscuits with thin layer of mix fruit jam. 11. Serve.
