Indian Railways has begun to resume train services on Tuesday (May 12), nearly two months after services were stopped due to the nationwide lockdown imposed to contain the spread of coronavirus.

The company issued a number of specific guidelines asking passengers to carry their own food, linen, and wear protective face masks.

Footage filmed in the capital New Delhi shows thousands queuing outside a train station.
