Statue of Unity a historic moment for all Indians, says PM Modi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi Wednesday unveiled the Statue of Unity, a 182-metre high giant structure built in honour of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel on his 143rd birth anniversary, near the Sardar Sarovar Dam in Gujarat’s Narmada district on Wednesday. Addressing the event, Modi said that the unveiling of the Statue of Unity was a historic moment for all Indians and it represents the sacrifices of the tribal community.
