In Aurangabad, Maharashtra, 16 people died after passing a goods train on the tracks of migrant laborers who slept. Children of laborers are also among those who die. After the incident, Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra have announced compensation for the family of the deceased. While the leaders expressed grief, the opposition raised questions on the government. Electoral strategist Prashant Kishore has reacted sharply to the death of migrant laborers.

महाराष्ट्र के औरंगाबाद में पटरी पर सोए प्रवासी मजदूरों के ऊपर से मालगाड़ी गुजरने से 16 की मौत हो गई है. मरने वालों में मजदूरों के बच्चे भी शामिल है. घटना के बाद मध्य प्रदेश और महाराष्ट्र ने मृतकों के परिवार के लिए मुआवजे की घोषणा की है. वहीं नेताओं ने दुख जताया तो विपक्ष ने सरकार पर सवाल खड़े किए. चुनावी रणनीतिकार प्रशांत किशोर ने प्रवासी मजदूरों की इस मौत को लेकर तीखे शब्‍दों में प्रतिक्रिया जताई है.
