Producer Habib Nadiadwala's father died when the shooting of the film 'Ghulami' started. JP had only Rs 3 lakh to shoot for 25 days in Rajasthan.
- He talked to the film's actor Dharmendra about that he would not be able to pay him a fee in this schedule. Dharmendra agreed to work without fees. Later the rest of the cast did the same and did not charge fees for the first schedule.
