Melvis the Pelvis: Hong Kong’s Elvis Impersonator for Nearly 30 Years

The King of Rock and Roll died more than 40 years ago, but the spirit of Elvis lives on in Hong Kong.

For nearly three decades, 67-year-old Melvis Kwok has been keeping the King’s spirit alive and rocking. He is a local legend in Hong Kong and one of a few full-time Elvis impersonators—and he’s vowed to keep on rocking it until he can’t move.
